By now, you should have heard about our Early Access Programme. Now that we’re releasing rapid and regular early access builds, it’s time we gave you a better feedback channel. As a first step, we’ve created a UserVoice forum dedicated to EAP feedback, and we’d really appreciate hearing anything you’ve got to say about the new builds and new features. We’ll also use it to let you know when we’re working on your suggestions, and keep you up-to-date on our plans.
Just to refresh your memory, we recently revamped our EAP, and are currently aiming for a new build every two weeks, with plenty of feedback in-between. So we’ve made it easy to download the latest EA build of .NET Reflector right from the homepage, and are making it easier for the community to let us know what they think of our latest work. The early access builds, with their payload of improvements, are open and accessible to everyone, so feel free to take them for a spin.
If you’re wondering what we’ve changed in the latest build (Version 7.5 EA build 1), I recommend you take a look at the “freshly baked” blog post, where Clive walks through everything that he, Nigel, Ruchika & Nick have been working on.
If you’re unfamiliar with UserVoice, it’s designed to make it really easy for feedback to be submitted, prioritized, and labelled as “under review”, “planned”, or “completed”, as well as commented on by users and dev team alike. We’re hoping this will give you a better idea of what we’re working on, and how we’re prioritising the adjustments and improvements we’re asked for. Even if you don’t have any feedback yourself, there are some great ideas in there already that could use your support.
We’re also looking at other ways to make it as easy as possible for you to send us your feedback, as well as keep up-to-date on our progress (if you’re interested). Let us know in the comments if you have any suggestions / preferred methods, otherwise we’ll just keep trying stuff out.
Just so you know, we’re approaching the end of our current sprint, so keep an eye out for V7.5 EA build 2 in the near future! In the meantime, let us know what you think of the current EA build.
